Templar Treasure in Scotland?

One of my favorite authors!!! If you love reading Scottish Roman novels or anythng Knights Templar, check it out!

Author Travels, Rue Allyn and Friends

ForbiddenLegacyPlease welcome Diana Cosby who will take us on a journey to 13th century Scotland in search of lost treasure with a look at her novel Forbidden Legacy ~ The Forbidden Series # 1.

Fascinated by the Knights Templars, I was thrilled at the opportunity to write The Forbidden series.  After hundreds of years, many questions remain about where the Templars fled, what treasure they took, and how were so many valiant knights able to disappear without a trace. In The Forbidden Series, I weave my character’s journey, where they face challenges, and in end fall in love, around these questions and more.

Story ideas come to me in numerous ways.  With Forbidden Legacy, the first book in The Forbidden Series, the hero, Stephan MacQuistan, Earl of Dunsmore, woke me up demanding I write his story.  I spent the next year and a half researching the Knights Templars, and continued…

Audiobooks in Physical Distribution

I’m SO excited!!! I’ve read these books and LOVE audio books…. I think this is a wonderful idea of doing the sets on audio! I’ve read and reviewed several of Claire Delacroi’s books because I think she’s a great writer. She has a new series coming out soon and I can’t wait. As some of you know, I’m still taking care of my mom, and now I’m waiting for an “any day now” granddaughter! ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍 Check out Claire’s blog and her books.

Deborah Cooke & Her Books

I received a very cool package last week – actually, there were two packages. Here’s what was inside them:

Blackstone Audio editions of The Beauty Bride and The Rogue, medieval romances by Claire Delacroix

These are the physical DVD editions of my audiobooks, The Beauty Bride and The Rogue. I like that Blackstone offers an option other than downloading the files – they say that libraries like this format.

Blackstone Audio editions of The Beauty Bride and The Rogue, medieval romances by Claire DelacroixBuy at DownpourYou can pre-order these editions directly from Blackstone through their DownPour portal – that’s the link on the icon with the arrow logo. I’ve linked to the download version for each book, but there’s a little dropdown menu at the top right of the product page. You can toggle between download and CD. They might be available at retailers like B&N when these editions release in August. Libraries can order them through the Blackstone Library portal.

Here are the free samples of each book, so you can have a listen. The Rogue was narrated by…

My Chat with William

What a gorgeous man…lol. Yes, I realize he’d probably cringe to hear me say that, but wow… If I was younger, he is exactly the guy I’d be looking for…sigh. Lol

Hello and welcome!

You will not believe who is chatting with me today! Read on and find out 😉

Welcome, Sir!

What is your full name?
William Wallace, m’lady.

Do you have a nickname?
None that I’d own up to, though my closest allies call me Willy.

What is one word best describes you?

William.jpgDescribe what you are wearing now to our readers.
Same as always. Chausses, a quilted arming doublet under my hauberk, atop that a surcoat with the crest of Scotland emblazoned across the front. Over my shoulder is my sword belt. I wield the two-handed sword—six pounds and five feet long it is. On my left hip I wear my dirk. I have daggers in my hose and up each sleeve. A man never kens when a backstabber will sneak up and try to run a blade across his throat.

Do you think the author portrayed…
