I wrote this one a few years ago using a pen name, so just thought I’d see if I still liked it. A friend put it on this picture because it was the inspiration for the poem. It was to my husband right before we married.
Sometimes, poems are like sketches…. every time you look at it you see something you want to change, so I might make changes and just put it beneath the picture. I’m sorry that I don’t know anything about the artist other than it has WAUGH printed on the side. I’ll have to research that.
It has been awhile, but it is great to read it again. I love the painting too. You are not going to put the couple in bed up next???

I lost the couple picture when my last computer died… I’ve killed several since my MySpace days… If you have it feel free to send it blank and I’ll try it again.
